Two days ago, Violet asked, "What do rainbows feel like?"
I said, "What do you think they feel like?"
Violet answered, "Like clouds."
(Awhile after I recovered from the cuteness factor, I explained
how you can't really feel a rainbow. It's never to early to explain
reality right?)
She then said, "maybe you could if you could get a really really tall
ladder."
(OK, so that was even cuter right?)
I then proceeded to explain that rainbows are just light and you can't touch light.
She said, "Why?" I then explained that it's like light shinning from a flash light.
You can't touch the beam of light.
I wish Violet and I could go on a little field trip to touch a rainbow.
